Michele Donohue’s hometown is Whitehorse, Yukon. A family move brought her to beautiful North Vancouver, where she lived for 9 years. Career moves took her to Edmonton, and then Calgary in 95, where she settled in Airdrie, married and had children. Michele completed various marketing & international business courses at different colleges in Western Canada.

Michele enjoyed the innocent fun & true wilderness of growing up in the North, and fondly reminisces friendships, enjoying the scenery & ocean in Vancouver, but she is content, comfortable & happy living in the sunny prairies. Michele is married with a family of two children and the most loveable dog.

Michele has participated in courses, workshops and studied various types & styles of art, since 1997, and continues learning a variety of art mediums & styles. Her art consists of mostly acrylic paints, inks & a variety of mixed media. Michele finds art therapeutic, and her art is constantly evolving, but mostly she truly loves envisioning & creating it.

Michele’s favourite art philosophy is, “beauty in things exist, in the mind that chooses to see them”, and “art should speak to the soul rather than the intellect”.
