Dulcie Sinclair, born in Montreal, Quebec with a God-given talent applied mainly to the Animal Kingdom in acrylic, charcoal, colored pencil, oil, pastels and Pen & Ink.

Dulcie started drawing her own horses and dogs in 1969 with no formal training, and discovered the love and fluidness of drawing. Her work is varied, ranging from portraits to more general scenes.

In 1987 Dulcie moved to Calgary and decided to pursue her artistic talent more seriously, where previously only her friends and family were the lucky recipients of her gifts of art. Since that move, Dulcie has been doing commissioned work on varied mediums such as canvas, metal and cattle skulls, to name a few.

Her commissioned pieces include one of a Hercules Aircraft for Commander Michael Hood of the Royal Canadian Air Force and a custom cattle skull of Bull #9 for Lloyd Broderson, owner of Tristar Cattle Company.

Dulcie has received recognition for her Auction Donation to Desperate Housewives Horse Rescue as well as numerous awards of l5t and 2nd place competitions.

Dulcie has been sponsored by Two Pine Galleries in Bragg Creek, The Rocky View Hospital Gallery in Calgary, as well as Friends of Fine Art Canadian and American Society, The Calgary Chamber of Commerce and is presently a member of the Airdrie Arts Society of Alberta.

Dulcie Sinclair specializes in Equine Subjects, Domestic Animals, Rodeo Scenes, Cattle Skulls and also sells personalized Blank Note Cards featuring her Pen & Ink art of an English Jumper, a Barrel Racer and a Grizzly Bear with Cub. Dulcie's work also hangs in various Veterinary Clinics.
